The move follows changes in government funding arrangements over the last year which led to Proskills and the NSA to review their activities and become more efficient.
Migration of services to NSA will take place from November onwards.
The NSA will continue to work with timber industry trade associations to deliver the sector’s vision and strategic objectives for skills and development in order to develop and retain a highly skilled and productive workforce.
"The training and development of employees within our unique and traditional industry is critical to its success and its future," said Rowena McBlane, group HR director at James Donaldson and Sons Ltd.
