Long established builders merchant Tann & Sons Ltd is the latest acquisition to be made by Travis Perkins.
The company, established in 1898, is based in Wealdstone, Harrow and has an extensive offering, including sawn and planed timber, plywood, fixings and tools.
Tann & Sons’ managing director Richard Tann has retired following the takeover.
Travis Perkins said earlier this month that it expected to add another 45 branches by the end of the financial year, taking its total to 1,100.
